URA Consortium Workshop Berlin #3
The third URA consortium workshop on German side took place at Habitat Unit at TU Berlin, bringing together the project’s principal investigators, researchers, research assistants and related master students from the German side. The participants had the opportunity to update each other and reflect collaboratively on the rich experiences and findings gained during the field trip in Huangyan-Taizhou earlier in October and November 2019. Besides that, Prof. Dr. Sigrun Langner led the team to further develop the strategic Raumbild methodology aiming to identify overlapping research topics and facilitating a critical discussion on selected potential local transformation laboratories (Reallabore). The team’s discussions also focused around the upcoming Sino-German consortium meeting, science and policy dialogue, and multi-stake holder workshops planned for February 2020, with the aim of strengthening knowledge transfer and collaborative research processes involving diverse Chinese key actors from Huangyan-Taizhou region and beyond.
