URA Raumbild Workshop #1
On January 26th, the URA Raumbild Workshop #1 took place in Berlin in a hybrid format, focusing on collaborative works on sustainable future strategies for Beiyang Town and the wider Huangyan-Taizhou region. To give participants a feeling for the temporal dimension of the Raumbild approach, the workshop dispensed with a comprehensive spatial analysis discussion and focused on identifying future challenges and sketching concrete pathways for sustainable spatial development.
In the second part of the workshop, the presented findings were discussed and mapped by the whole group. Based on previously-identified spaces, actors, and places, the first interdisciplinary pathways for sustainable spatial developments were defined. Finally, the results were presented and discussed with further work steps jointly agreed upon.
